Step-by-Step Setup
Follow these 5 steps and you'll be in-game in minutes!
Step 1: Download the Modrinth App
Head to modrinth.com/app and click the green Download button to grab the Modrinth launcher. This is the app you'll use to run the modpack.
Step 2: Run the Installation
Launch the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Click Install to complete the setup. The Modrinth app should open automatically once it's done — if it doesn't, just open it manually.
Step 3: Sign into Minecraft
Inside the Modrinth app, click the Sign In button and log in with your Microsoft account. Just follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate — this is required to play Minecraft.
Step 4: Install Cobblemon Islands
Click the compass icon in the top left corner to open the Discover Content section. In the search bar, type “Cobblemon Islands”. Once the modpack appears, click Install and wait for the download to finish.
Step 5: Launch & Join!
Head to your Library tab in Modrinth — you'll see Cobblemon Islands listed there. Press the green Play button and wait around 30–60 seconds for Minecraft to launch. Then connect to the server and start your adventure!
